Working hours

08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays and statutory leave.

Work location

36th Floor, Discovery Office Building, 302 Cau Giay Street, Cau Giay Ward, Hanoi, Vietnam.

Key responsibilities

1. Contract drafting and review

  • Draft, examine, and review contracts, agreements, minutes, and transaction documents.
  • Assess the legality, validity, and potential risks of contractual provisions.
  • Recommend amendments to protect the company’s legitimate rights and interests.
  • Support the completion, signing, and implementation of contracts.
  • Prepare documents for negotiations with customers, partners, and relevant parties.
  • Participate in contract negotiations as assigned by the Department Head or Board of Management.

2. Legal documentation management

  • Review, revise, and complete legal documents, official correspondence, and transaction records.
  • Ensure that corporate documents and transactions comply with applicable laws.
  • Maintain and manage the company’s legal records and statutory documents.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to collect and complete required documentation.
  • Support legal procedures relating to corporate, labor, commercial, and operational activities.

3. Regulatory monitoring and updates

  • Regularly monitor, review, and summarize new laws, regulations, and government policies.
  • Analyze legal changes that may affect the company’s business operations.
  • Communicate important regulatory updates to relevant departments.
  • Recommend revisions to internal procedures, templates, and documentation when legal requirements change.
  • Maintain an organized legal information and regulatory document system.

4. Internal legal advice and support

  • Research legal issues arising from the company’s daily operations.
  • Provide legal support to departments on contracts, procedures, records, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in handling complaints, requests, and legal issues involving customers or partners.
  • Support the Department Head in identifying and assessing legal risks.
  • Recommend preventive measures to minimize disputes, violations, and potential losses.

5. Compliance and risk management support

  • Assist in reviewing the company’s compliance with applicable laws and internal regulations.
  • Monitor the implementation of legal policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Identify potential legal risks in contracts, documents, and business transactions.
  • Report compliance issues and emerging risks to the Department Head.
  • Coordinate the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

6. External coordination

  • Support communications with customers, partners, legal consultants, and external law firms.
  • Prepare records and documents for dealings with government authorities.
  • Assist in monitoring and completing legal procedures required for business operations.
  • Support the preparation of explanations, reports, and documentation requested by competent authorities.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Department Head and Board of Management.

Job requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Major in Law, Commerce, International Trade, Import–Export, or a related discipline.
  • English-language qualifications are preferred.
  • Business training certificates are an advantage but are not mandatory.

Experience

  • At least two years of experience in a corporate legal role or an equivalent position.
  • Experience in manufacturing, trading, logistics, or import–export companies is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of corporate legal affairs.
  • Solid understanding of corporate, civil, labor, and commercial laws.
  • Practical experience in contract drafting, review, and management.
  • Ability to read and understand contracts and legal documents in English.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, commercial, or logistics operations is an advantage.

Working relationships

The Legal & Risk Management Specialist will:

  • Report to the Head of Legal & Risk Management and provide updates to management when required.
  • Coordinate with departments and business units across the Kanetora ecosystem.
  • Work with customers, partners, consultants, and external law firms.
  • Support dealings with government authorities within the assigned scope of work.
