KANETORA SILICON WAFER PROUDLY SUPPLIES ITS FIRST OFFICIAL WAFER ORDER TO THE SCHOOL OF MATERIALS SCIENCE – HANOI UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Kanetora Silicon Wafer is proud to announce the successful delivery of our first official wafer order to the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). This marks an important milestone in our collaboration with one of Vietnam’s leading institutions in materials science, microelectronics, and nanotechnology.

Kanetora Silicon Wafer representative, Mr. Trần Lê Quân (Head of Sales), delivers the first wafer order to HUST’s School of Materials Science. Alongside Dr. Đào Thị Thủy Nguyệt is Ms. Trần Thị Thu Trang, Chief Accountant of Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Representing Kanetora, Mr. Trần Lê Quân – Head of Sales and International Business Development for Silicon Wafers – worked directly with the faculty to deliver high-quality wafers that meet international standards, supporting both teaching and research activities.

Collaborating with Leading Experts in Materials and Microelectronics

During the handover, Kanetora met with Dr. Đào Thị Thủy Nguyệt, lecturer at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, an expert in:

  • Fabrication of nanostructured magnetic materials

  • Studying nano-scale effects on electrical and magnetic properties

  • Applying nano-materials in sensors, magnets, composites, and advanced devices

Images from HUST’s cleanroom facilities show students and researchers working hands-on with wafer inspection, lithography workflows, and micro/nano-structure characterization—essential steps in semiconductor training. Kanetora’s wafers are now an integral part of this practical learning environment.

High-Quality Silicon Wafers for Semiconductor Training and Research

The wafers supplied by Kanetora meet strict international specifications and are ideal for:

  • Photolithography, thin-film deposition, and plasma etching

  • MEMS and sensor fabrication research

  • Micro/nano-structure analysis and electrical testing

  • Training students on real semiconductor processing workflows

With industry-standard wafers, students gain exposure to processes aligned with global semiconductor manufacturing practices—helping bridge the gap between academic training and industrial production.

Kanetora – Strengthening Vietnam’s Semiconductor Ecosystem

As part of our long-term vision in semiconductor materials, Kanetora aims to:

  • Provide reliable, high-quality wafer supply for universities and research institutes

  • Support the development of skilled semiconductor engineers and researchers

  • Foster industry–academia partnerships for future R&D projects

  • Contribute to Vietnam’s growing semiconductor ecosystem

This first order for HUST’s School of Materials Science demonstrates Kanetora’s commitment to Quality – Innovation – Global Vision.

Kanetora extends our sincere appreciation to the School of Materials Science and Engineering – HUST

We believe that Kanetora’s wafers will play a meaningful role in training Vietnam’s next generation of semiconductor scientists and engineers.
